Provider methodology

A listing, a verified capability, and an access partner are different things

This page explains how TanyaKanker labels provider information so patients and navigators can understand what is known.

Public information

Public information

Information available from public sources. This does not mean TanyaKanker has verified capability or access.

Verified capability

Verified capability

TanyaKanker has checked a specific capability against a recorded source or confirmation, with a verification date.

Access partner

Access partner

An operational relationship explicitly recorded in TanyaKanker data with an explainable coordination pathway.

What we check

  • The specific capability, such as molecular pathology, radiation modality, or international patient service.
  • The source or contact used for the check.
  • The date last verified and the next review expectation.
  • Whether an access pathway is actually recorded.

What we do not claim

  • A listing proves clinical suitability.
  • A commercial relationship means a provider is medically superior.
  • A provider will accept a case, quote a price, or produce an outcome.
  • Public information is current after its last verification date.

Clinical suitability remains a separate question

Commercial or operational access information never replaces review by the treating team. A provider relationship does not determine which option is appropriate for a patient.

Every capability should carry a source and last-verified date. If the data does not support a stronger label, the page keeps the weaker label or states that the information is unknown.
